Pump Aid, the leading water charity is calling on 8,000 people to dust off those running shoes and take part in the London Dow Live Earth Run for Water event and raise money.
Pump Aid, supported by celebs such as
Corinne Bailey Rae,
Kym Marsh, Hollyoaks'
Zoe Lister and loads more, is the sole beneficiary of the UK Live Earth Run for Water London event and aspires to raise as much money as possible on the 18th April to help solve the global water crisis. The charity itself provides clean water to Malawi, Zimbabwe and Liberia through their unique ‘Elephant Pump’.
Their aim? To get 8,000 people to sign up to the 6km run – the average and unthinkable distance vulnerable women and children walk to collect clean water, often taking them 5 hours a day!
