Hollyoaks Parachute Jump up for Spectacular Scene at BSA's 2010

The outstanding Hollyoaks Parachute Jump scene involving Zoe Lister, Loui Batley, Lydia Kelly and others is up for Spectacular Scene at the British Soap Awards 2010. Zoe throwing herself out of a plane for real for a scene deserves an award on it's own in my opinion and of course Loui swinging from some sort of crane all day filming the death scene! Clearly the best scene ever on a British soap! Surely Hollyoaks should have this award in the bag?! We hope so!
Good Luck!!

Lister: 'Hollyoaks jokes are annoying' +pic of Zoe @ The Closet Launch

Taken from Digital Spy.

Former Hollyoaks actress Zoë Lister has admitted that she gets annoyed when people make jokes about the soap.

The 28-year-old, who left her role as Zoe Carpenter on the serial last year, confirmed that it can be disheartening when the cast's hard work is mocked.

Speaking to Take 5 magazine, Lister explained: "It's a shame. I took it seriously because it was my job and I'm an actor.

"I get annoyed when people make fun, but at the same time it is what it is and it doesn't take itself too seriously. It can be bubblegum but it also deals with pretty big issues."

The star added that she remains grateful for the gritty storylines she was given throughout her three-year stint on the drama.

She said: "In the past, the students in Hollyoaks have often been overlooked, so it was great that Zoe developed and changed so much."

Also Zoe attended 'The Closet' launch party last night in Liverpool.

Zoe Lister cautious over job offers

Taken from Digital Spy.

Former Hollyoaks star Zoë Lister has revealed that she is taking a careful approach to her career following her departure from the soap.

In an interview with Take 5 magazine, the actress explained that she is holding out for the right project rather than accepting every job offer she receives.

Lister recently bowed out as troubled Zoe Carpenter after three years in the role. Her final scenes aired on the Channel 4 serial in January.

Discussing her future plans, the 28-year-old commented: "You have to be clever about what you do next I think, and not just pick the first thing that comes along because you're not working."

She added: "My idea is to do some theatre, go to acting classes and just meet lots of people. I'd really like to do some great dramas and films."

Lister confirmed that she has been attending "lots of auditions" in recent months and believes "anything could happen" in the future.
