Zoe Lister Digital Spy Interview - New Year Storyline
How's Zoe been coping since returning to village life following her 'not guilty' verdict?
"Zoe's been out of prison for a few weeks now and she's faced with a lot of her friends saying that they didn't think she'd get out or that they thought she was guilty. Most just assumed it was Zoe who cut the cords of Sarah's parachute, so there weren't many people on her side. So Zoe's spent two months in prison, stood trial for her murder, her best friend's dead and nobody believed that she was innocent. Everyone's still oblivious to Lydia's involvement in Sarah's death and go with the ruling that it was suicide."
Is Zoe determined to set the record straight?
"Definitely. Zoe can't let Mike continue to think that Sarah killed herself because it must be awful for a parent to continue thinking that about their child. Zoe wants justice, especially as Lydia - Sarah's real murderer - is living with Mike! Zoe decides that the only way she can sort everything out is to befriend Lydia and elicit a confession out of her."
What's Zoe's master plan?
"She doesn't really have a clue what she's doing, but she wants to get a confession out of Lydia. She can't go to the police because they've closed the case, so Zoe takes matters into her own hands."
Zoe ends up moving into the Barnes' - do you think she still has feelings for Mike? Don't they share a kiss?
"No, she doesn't have any feelings for him, but he tries it on with her. Mike's in a really messy place as he's still grieving about Sarah's death, so Zoe tries to be there for him. She cares a lot about him and they have a history together and so while Zoe's trying to console him, Mike takes it too far. Zoe sets him straight, though, and apologises if she was giving off the wrong impression."
How does Lydia end up staying in Hollyoaks for Christmas?
"Zoe wants to keep Lydia in her sights - she doesn't want her to go away and never come back. Zoe wants to bring Lydia to justice and avenge Sarah's death. By this point, though, Charlotte realises that Lydia's a bit kooky and suggests that Lydia leave for a while. As Lydia's preparing to leave for Christmas, Zoe asks her to stay around."
How do Zoe and Lydia end up kissing?!
"It all gets really messy from here! Because Lydia's really deranged, Lydia starts thinking that because she loved Sarah and Sarah loved Zoe, if she gets with Zoe, that'll be the final piece in the puzzle and it'll all work out. So Lydia starts becoming obsessed with Zoe and to keep control, Zoe has to go with it. There's a point where Lydia kisses her! And then Mike walks in and kicks Zoe out."
New Year's Eve is the climactic episode to this storyline - what happens?
"Lydia apologises to Zoe for what happened and suggests that they should see in the New Year with Sarah at the graveyard. When they get to the church, Zoe's really freaked out. They're great confrontation scenes because there are so many power shifts. Quite early on, Zoe realises that she's in a potentially dangerous situation and goes to walk away, but Lydia grabs her and says that they've not told Sarah about their relationship yet! It gets weirder and weirder and in the end, Zoe pushes Lydia out of the way and bolts. As she goes, though, she trips and smacks her head on a pew."
What happens next?
"A crazed Lydia's standing over her. Zoe has nothing to lose at this point and she just goes for it and bombards her with questions about Sarah's death in the hope of getting a confession. Lydia finally snaps and exclaims that the parachute wasn't meant for Sarah, it was meant for her [Zoe]. It's even worse than Zoe thought! At that moment, Lydia reveals a massive kitchen knife. There's a bit of a tussle and Zoe legs it into the cemetery."
Does she manage to get away?
"Zoe hides in the graveyard and can see Lydia across the way and when Zoe turns, she's faced with Sarah's grave! It stops Zoe in her tracks because she's never seen the grave before as she was in prison at the time of the funeral. When Zoe turns around the other way, Lydia's right there behind her with the knife, claiming that they both have to die at midnight to be with Sarah. Zoe's trapped. There's a bit of waiting around for midnight to come and Zoe's sat up against Sarah's grave. Lydia's looming over her with the knife and when the bells start ringing, Lydia lunges at her and plunges the knife in."

Zoe Lister - AKA Zoe Carpenter
Favourite ever Christmas?
My favourite ever Christmas was probably one when I was much younger and we all stayed at my auntie and uncle's house and they had a big lucky dip they'd made and we got to have a lucky dip every day. It was so exciting!
Worst ever Christmas?
Might have actually been last year, which sounds a bit crap, but it was the first Christmas without my grandparents so it was a bit sad.
Favourite present?
Probably a doll's house. Brilliant.
Worst present?
I think I got given this really old bible once. It was probably from some grandparents!
Turkey or goose?
Turkey.
Mince pies or Christmas pudding?
Mince pies, which have 235 calories per pie as I found out in Tescos last night!
Family Christmas or Christmas with a partner?
Family.
Home Christmas or holiday Christmas?
Home.
What one present are you hoping for this Christmas?
A Marc Jacob handbag, but I don't think it's gonna happen!
What's your favourite part about Christmas?
The togetherness and the build up.
Any New Year plans?
I have, actually. I'm going to be in Sydney watching the fireworks on a boat! Come on! My boyfriend and his family are gonna be there too, so I can't wait.

Zoe Lister Heat Interview
Zoe Lister's Hollyoaks character – who is also called Zoe, which is nice – is having a pretty tough time of it at the moment. Framed for the murder of her best friend and one-time lover Sarah by the evil and twisted Lydia, she's currently standing trial in one of the most tense weeks of Hollyoaks we've seen in ages. Actress Zoe Lister will soon be waving farewell to Chester for good, but before she left she made some time to answer YOUR questions. Read the full interview below. We're going to miss lovely Zoe.
How are you feeling about leaving Hollyoaks?
Nervous. Totally panicked. But also very excited; it’s going to be a whole new world. I quite like a bit of upheaval in my life every few years. I’m trying to keep a lid on the terror.
What were your feelings about leanring to skydive?
I was massively excited, until I got into the plane. You have a day of ground training and make sure you know your reserve drills, then basically you just get into a plane and jump out. It’s great, but it doesn’t get any less terrifying. I’ve done thirteen jumps now, with the last two being live takes for the show.
Do you wish you had the death scene as your exit?
Not particularly – it’s been interesting to deal with the aftermath of Sarah’s death. You don’t have to do much in a death scene, just scream and that’s it. But I suppose you get remembered for it!
What would your ideal exit be?
I’d really like something positive for her because she’s had such a crap year. She really needs to go and do something for herself. On her own, and independent. She needs to go find herself.
What has your favourite Zoe storyline been?
Oh, it’s definitely the stuff I’m doing at the moment, which I can’t reveal. It’s really exciting. Brilliantly dramatic.
Who was the best 'Oaks boy you’ve had to snog.
Oh, Ashley Taylor-Dawson, who plays Darren. What a sweetie. He’s such a lovely bloke in real life; we just had such a giggle.
What was it like to snog Tony Hirst (Mike Barnes)?
Ha! He’s great, actually. But when you’re having any sort of kissing scene, because you’re not in love with that person in real life, it’s all the same. It’s all acting, so it doesn’t really matter who it is; man, woman, older or younger, it’s all a bit odd.
What will you miss most about being on the show?
Lame answer, but the truth: the people. Everyone gets on so well, and the crew are just the salt of the earth. It’s like its own little world, a lot of people have worked here since the Brookside days. It’s so close and the banter is high.
What will you not miss?
Maybe the early starts? And how sometimes it’s all-consuming, and you don’t have any time for anything or anybody else. It’s 7am till 7pm, then you’ve got to learn lines for the next day.
Talk us through a Hollyoaks cast night out.
Well, there was one last Saturday, actually. It started off at 3pm at the Lowry Hotel for afternoon tea with the girls – lots of cucumber sandwiches and scones and a bit of champagne as well. Then we all went out in Manchester and had a wonderful time, barring and clubbing. It got messy. It finished about 4am, I think. Eleven hours.
What’s the most expensive thing you’ve ever bought yourself?
Probably my car. It’s a Mini Cooper convertible. I love it to pieces. It’s cream coloured with racing stripes down the front. I haven’t named it properly, but I call it Mini Coops.
What do you have planned next?
Plans? Plans? Ha! Hopefully some theatre, quality dramas and so on. As long as I’m working. I’d love to do a period drama. A Brontë would be good, but they’ve all been on recently.
Would you consider a reality show like Strictly Come Dancing?
I’d never say never, but it’s not high on the agenda.
Who do you want to win the X Factor?
I wanted Jamie Afro! I liked his big hair and I thought he was great.

Zoe Lister article - Liverpool Echo
Aww love this article cute and funny! :)
Dawn Collinson talks to Hollyoaker Zoe Lister and finds out being on TV isn’t all about glamour
IT’S hard to know where it all went wrong for Hollyoaks’ Zoe Lister. Was it the affair with her best friend Sarah? Or maybe the affair with Sarah’s dad? Perhaps it was when she was accused of murdering Sarah by cutting her parachute chord and pushing her out of a plane?
Either way, actress Zoe Lister is languishing in jail – or at least a small disused office-cum-cupboard in Lime Pictures’ Childwall HQ, awaiting her fate.
The 27-year-old has been there since her character, Zoe Carpenter, was put in the frame for killing her best mate.
It’s been a grim few months, she jokes, facing solitary confinement day in, day out.
“They’ve made me a little jail cell on set and it’s basically just a tiny room, painted grey, which is so depressing. I have to sit in there all on my own and every so often a prison officer comes in and slams down a bowl of porridge or something. Honestly, it’s genuinely awful, so at least it’s not hard to get into character.
“I go into make-up every morning to be made suitably rough and they add on the bags and the lines and general greyness. They tell me off if I’ve ever had too much sleep because it means I don’t look bad enough!”
For Zoe, who joined the soap just over three years ago, it’s her first real dramatic storyline. There have been those love entanglements with her gal pal and her dad, as well as a few romantic near misses with fellow students, but standing trial for murder is a whole new ball game.
Viewers who watched the recent late-night episodes of Hollyoaks know that Zoe is innocent and that it was Sarah’s on-off partner Lydia who did the deed.
But that hasn’t stopped fingers pointing – and Zoe being under threat of life imprisonment.
“We got two scripts, one for the regular show and one for the late night, and it was then that I found out how Loui, who played Sarah, would be leaving,” says Zoe.
“It sounded great and I couldn’t wait to do it. Zoe hasn’t had too much drama since I started, but this has been brilliant.”
Filming for the past couple of months has been a strange experience, she admits, and not just because of that prison cell.
Loui Batley and Zoe had become best friends during their time on Hollyoaks and so when she departed it left a big void.
“It made it interesting to deal with the aftermath of Sarah’s death because our characters had been so close,” explains Zoe. “We’d been in a little bubble for the last 18 months to two years so it was odd for me.”
Zoe herself has revealed plans to leave the soap, although there’s no saying she’ll leave Liverpool too. She’s happily made her home here and says she loves it, especially the music scene.
Reportedly dating singer Mark Hole (she appeared in the video for his song Dirty Base), she ran club nights with castmate Claire Cooper, who plays Jacqui McQueen.
“And we’ve been involved with the Hollyoaks Music Show which has been great,” she adds. “I love how relaxed people are in Liverpool when they see the cast around town.
“If I go back to my home town in the Midlands it’s always ‘oh my God’ when people recognise you. In Liverpool you can walk around Tesco and no-one even notices. Sometimes I do think that they’re secretly following you to see what’s in your basket, though, so I try to look like I’m a really good cook. I save all the dirty food until they’re not looking!”
Zoe’s Hollyoaks trial begins on Monday, November 30, C4 6.30pm

Zoe Lister Digital Spy Interview - Zoe's Trial.
It's not every day you stand trial on suspicion of killing your best friend in a freak parachute incident, but Hollyoaks' Zoe Carpenter - played by 27-year-old Zoë Lister - finds herself in exactly that predicament as she faces action over the attempted murder of Sarah Barnes. Zoe finally has her day in court next week and while her friends and family turn out in force to support her, she's resigned herself to a long stretch in prison. Lydia's (Lydia Kelly) account is thoroughly convincing, but when Charlotte (Amy Yamazaki) makes a sudden realisation about a certain sharp object and a new piece of evidence comes to light, will justice be served and Zoe be found not guilty? Or will she be sent down for a murder she didn't commit? We dropped by the Hollyoaks set in Liverpool to catch up with Zoë to find out more.
What did you think of the parachute jump episode in Hollyoaks Later when you watched it back?
"I loved it! I was so proud when I watched it back. It was so powerful. The whole sequence was amazing, with the music. It was such a long sequence and even though you knew what was going to happen, it was great to watch."
How's Zoe been coping with prison life?
"Not very well! It's all completely overwhelming for her. She can't get her head around the fact that her best friend's dead and the fact that she's being accused of murdering her is ridiculous. She's worried that because it's got this far its ludicrous, so who's to say that she won't be sent down?"
Who turns out to support her during the trial?
"Archie, her brother, has been a really great support throughout the whole thing. Kris is there shouting away in court, Nancy's also there. Zak's there, too, and he has a bit of a hard time dealing with it all. Zoe's father is there, too, as is her mum. Her mum's only there for the first day, though - after that, she disowns her a little. Zoe's mum's a very proud woman and she's ashamed that her daughter's in prison. That on top of the lesbian issue is too much for her."
Kris has an interesting view on it all, doesn't he?
"Definitely. Kris is a massive supporter of Zoe's but while everyone else is telling her that she'll be found not guilty, Kris tells Archie that although he loves Zoe to bits and knows she didn't kill Sarah, he insists that she'll be found guilty because that's how the justice system works."
How does Zoe feel when Lydia takes the stand?
"Zoe knows that Lydia's going to stand there and lie to Zoe, it's obvious that Lydia planted the knife. Zoe's just wondering what lies Lydia's going to come up with next. Lydia's actually really convincing and after the first day, Zoe almost resigns herself to the fact that she's going to prison. Zoe knows the truth, though - she knows she's innocent, so she really has to fight for justice for Sarah and herself."
The knife plays an important role during trial week, too…
"Yeah, the evidence that the prosecution has is that the knife used to cut Sarah's parachute cords was found in Zoe's back pack. Charlotte, though, recognises the knife and realises that it's Lydia's, so that all spirals out of court. It's a question of whether Charlotte will come clean as to the identity of the knife's real owner."
How does Zoe cope while she's giving evidence?
"It's not great at all. The prosecution rip her to bits and she comes across as this unhinged obsessed girl who's very capable of cutting the parachute cords."
How can people get Zoe and Lydia so wrong?
"I don't know! Lydia's just wheedled in there with Mike and it's just made Zoe look like the bad person. Zoe has got herself into a bit of trouble throughout the year and now it's all come together to make her look like a woman on the edge!"
How does Sarah's diary come to light?
"Lydia has this old diary of Sarah's and Charlotte finds it on the last day of the trial. But because of Lydia's threats to kill herself if the truth comes out, Charlotte gives it to Mike and takes it into court. Zoe's panicking about the verdict in court and all of a sudden a new witness comes to light and Mike walks into the courtroom with the diary. So that's a bit of a lifeline for Zoe, but will it be enough to save her from a long spell in prison?"

If Zoe Lister (Zoe Carpenter) were to get her celebrity bottom on a bus then she wouldn't alight at a normal bus stop, no! She'd aboard her botty at a CircleStop! That, ladies and gentlemen, is how much she loves the unsigned punk-pop band of the same name.
Despite their tender years, the Scottish quartet has already played all the corners of the British Isles. Armed with only peroxide blonde locks, hair straighteners and a salvo of catchy as man flu McFly-esque tunes, the lads have steadily built a growing fan base.
Our Zoe's a fan, but will you be? (Yes is my answer to that!)

Zoe will be at Clothes Show Live on the 4th and 8th of December!
From the Clothes Show Live Website...
Zoë trained at the Starlight School of Dance in Winyates, after graduating Zoe worked as a professional dancer and singer. Hollyoaks is Zoe’s first TV role.
In her spare time Zoe likes to see new places, read, watch films and enjoys going to the theatre.
She adores her job on set, however, when she gets home from work there’s nothing she loves better than to chill out in her jeans! “
In Hollyoaks, following a dangerous relationship with psycho student Will, and another failed relationship with cheating Darren, Zoë decided she was off men. However, residing at the Barnes' house, Zoe found herself falling for her friend Sarah's dad Mike! Their relationship ended in tears though, after Zoe slept with Mike's daughter Sarah following a drunken night out. Mike found out, and threw the pair of them out of the house. Zoe is currently trying to finish her film degreee at HCC.
Zoë has sadly announced her decision to leave Hollyoaks, ‘I’ve had a fantastic time in the show and have worked with some amazing people! I’m very sad to leave but feel that it’s time to try new things”.
Zoë landed the role having cut her teeth acting and dancing.
Zoë will be appearing in the Fashion Theatre at Clothes Show Live on Friday 4 and Tuesday 8 December

Hollyoaks actress Zoe Lister says she doesn't mind if fans remember her as being the girl who had a lesbian fling. The 27-year-old actress feels that her character, Zoe Carpenter, will forever be remembered for her romantic encounter with friend Sarah Barnes. Zoe said: "I think that's a possibility to be honest. Oaks Zoe gutted not to meet Gok
Hollyoaks actress Zoe Lister revealed it was a "big disappointment" not to have met Gok Wan while filming for a forthcoming episode of Gok's Fashion Fix
.
The 27-year-old actress, who plays Zoe Carpenter in the Chester-based soap, was filming a segment for an edition which features wheelchair-bound co-star Kelly-Marie Stewart (Hayley Ramsay).
She said: "They were doing this special with Kelly-Marie on disability and shopping and I did some little bits and pieces on my views on her dress sense and it was really good, but there was no sign of Gok and that was a big disappointment."
She added: "I was like 'where is he?' and I don't know if Kelly did meet him. I like the show because whether you listen to it or not, it's always good to have a professional opinion on how you dress or what you look like."
Zoe is set to bow out of the soap after being in the show since 2006.

Exit left 'hole' in Zoe's life
Hollyoaks actress Zoe Lister has revealed that the exit of former co-star Loui Batley has left "a hole" in her life.
Loui - who played Sarah Barnes for four years - left the Channel 4 soap in October 23 after her character was killed off in a skydive, and Zoe, who plays wannabe filmmaker Zoe Carpenter, said: "There's definitely been a hole left in my working life.
"But it's been so busy that it's quite hard to digest that I've been working with different people a lot more, which has been nice because you get in a new little bubble."
On-screen, the duo were best friends and shared a drunken encounter, as well as laughs and rows.
Zoe added: "I really miss her actually. We were just in such a bubble for months working together and obviously the Late Night episodes were really great fun to work on, particularly because we do all sorts of funny stunts."
Aww that's so cute...

Zoe likes 'anti-Oaks' look
The cast of Hollyoaks is so glam it hurts.
But Zoe Lister, who stands out from the crowd by being a tomboy in the soap, said she likes the fact she's playing an "anti-Hollyoaks" girl.
The 27-year-old said of her character: "I quite appreciate the fact she's a bit of an anti-Hollyoaks girl in some ways. I've quite enjoyed that aspect."
She admitted, however, that it would be nice for her character to have a few more opportunities to get glammed up, adding: "It's a shame she was always a bedraggled looking student the whole time!"
The blonde, who is leaving her role this year, added she's ruling out any more lads' mags shoots in the future.
She said: "It's something I've gone away from in the last year or so and I've said I don't want to do any more. I guess you choose your path and when I first joined it was quite fun to get involved in that sort of stuff. But as I've got older and thought about what I actually want for my career I thought it's not always the best way to go.
"The odd one or two things is quite fun but if you're doing it all the time you're not going to have much acting career on the back of it, I would think, unless you're very lucky."
Bad luck boys!

The Saturdays head line up for Hollyoaks Music Show
The Hollyoaks Music Show with Matalan will be made up of 10 episodes, which will play out on T4 on Saturdays at 11am, from October 17.
It will host acoustic performances from four live bands who will appear on music stages at the Lime Pictures studios in Childwall each week.
The line-up will include one unsigned act per show, with each one being championed by a cast member who will introduce them on stage.
An online vote will take place at the end of the series to decide which one of the nine unsigned bands will feature on the soap’s soundtrack.
Actress Zoe Lister, 27, who plays Zoe Carpenter, said: “I was asked to do it because Claire Cooper, who plays Jacqui, and I started a music night, Tarquin Won’t Jam, in Liverpool last year.
“There are so many great new bands around and Liverpool is a great place to live if you love music.
“There are not really that many music shows on mainstream TV so it is good for the audience.
“The winning act gets to play a track on Hollyoaks, so there will be a lot of banter once we start mentoring our acts.”
The show is part of Get Close to Hollyoaks – an initiative from Channel 4, Lime Pictures and its digital arm Conker Media.
Lee Hardman, executive producer, said: “It gives fans the chance to enjoy their favourite music artists in familiar Hollyoaks settings.
“They can also learn about the musical tastes of their favourite Hollyoaks cast members.”

Zoe Lister DS Interview
Here is an interview with Zoe form Digital Spy! LOL at the icicle thing!
Zoe Carpenter fans will have been somewhat pleased by the outcome of Thursday night's episode of Hollyoaks Later. Not because Sarah (Loui Batley) met her maker, but because Zoe didn't!
However, there's a tough time ahead for the Hollyoaks student over the coming weeks as she's forced to deal with the fallout of Lydia (Lydia Kelly) planting the knife she cut the parachute cords with in Zoe's belongings. Having been arrested at the end of the last episode of this year's Later, Zoe now has a fight on her hands to prove her innocence.
Whether that happens remains to be seen, but my guess is that it all goes to trial. We know that Zoë's leaving, so with that in mind, here are a few bonus morsels from my time with her.
Do you think a relationship between Zoe and Sarah would have worked?
"Who knows! I think Sarah would really like it but Zoe would always be like, 'No, no', but Zoe's still young. Who knows what she might decide? I think, inherently that Zoe's not a lesbian. She's just experimental and a free spirit."
Where does Zoe go from here?
"She's in a very difficult place. She's lost her best friend and there's so much history there and she's finished her degree - well she didn't even finish her degree, she failed that - so she's in a limbo land anyway. She's working silly jobs and she's not in a very good place at all in any aspect of her life. Oh, and she's in prison on suspicion of murder..."
How do you leave the series?
"I have an idea but nothing's been actually written yet. I like the sound of it, though. I guess there's only so many ways you can leave a soap. You either die - and there's been quite enough deaths recently - or you get carted off to prison or leave in a taxi to go somewhere else..."
If you could invent a death for Zoe...
"I think it would be death by falling icicle in the head - I read that in a book and thought it was really cool!"
When are you due to finish filming?
"I haven't finished filming the main show yet as I don't leave on screen before the year's out."
Was it a difficult decision to decide to leave?
"It wasn't difficult in a lot of ways because if you've done a good three years in a soap it's just your time. It wasn't something I really struggled with. I knew a year ago that this was probably going to be my last year. I wasn't desperate to leave because it's awful or anything, because I've had such an amazing time and met amazing people and got an amazing start to my career. I was keen to see what else can be done. I'd really like to do some theatre next but you really can't plan it. It's such a weird career to have. I'll probably be working in an actual call centre before I know it!"

Zoe Lister and Loui Batley DS Interview
It's the end of the line for either Sarah Barnes or Zoe Carpenter during tonight's dramatic episode of Hollyoaks Later when one will plunge to their death as a skydive goes tragically wrong. Completely unaware that Lydia (Lydia Kelly) has sabotaged one of the parachute packages, Sarah and Zoe - played by Loui Batley and Zoë Lister, respectively - throw themselves out of the plane. While free-falling, one girl suddenly discovers that their parachute won't operate. We recently caught up with Loui and Zoë to chat about the episode, the stunt and their characters' relationship.
How did you get involved in Hollyoaks Later this year?
[LB] "I had meetings with Bryan [Kirkwood] about doing the Later episodes and it was a really good, dramatic storyline. I did last year's too, and it was so much fun - you get more time to do stuff and you get away from the studios and go on location. It's just a bit different to doing the normal shows."
[ZL] "I don't really know how it came about but I had such a good time on the late-night episodes last year - it was a whole different Hollyoaks experience to be part of and to film. I was definitely up for it, especially when I heard about the story and the opportunity to learn how to skydive!"
What's it been like working with Bryan again?
[LB] "It was great actually because when he was doing the normal episodes, he was so busy arranging stuff and he didn't get to come on set much because there was so much stuff being filmed at the same time and people going off on different locations. With the late nights, because we were just filming one thing at a time, he was on set a lot to give his feedback. It was really nice to work with him again - everyone had a lot more time and a lot more energy for the late-nighters."
[ZL] "It's been really good, actually. He was on set every day, lurking! He had a lot of input into how he wanted it all to end up looking. It's his baby and it's been nice to have him around."
What was your reaction to your storyline when you first heard about it?
[LB] "I thought it was brilliant and really exciting but obviously traumatic as someone dies, so I knew it'd be dramatic as well - an actress's dream! It was great working with the girls as well because we had so much fun!"
In a nutshell, where are we up to with the story three episodes in?
[ZL] "In a nutshell?! Let me organise my brain! There are a few of us who go on a skydive/adventure camp getaway. Zoe and Sarah have gone because Lydia's doing Sarah's head in. It was all fun and lovely then Lydia turns up (of course) and she's basically jealous of Zoe and the relationship Zoe and Sarah have - whatever that is at the time. She's really jealous and starts plotting. In episode three [Zoe and Sarah] both get really drunk in classic Zoe and Sarah-style and it all ends up a bit silly and Sarah takes things too far, bless her - she's in love. There's a drunken fumble in the tent. Lydia overhears the drunken fumble and she's not happy in the slightest."
[LB] "Then it's the skydive! We're really starting to get nervous about it and doing our last minute training. Unbeknown to anyone else, Lydia's sabotaged one of the parachutes. Then we all end up in the sky free-falling and there's a big question mark over who's going to cark it!"
Has Sarah come to terms with the fact that she's a lesbian?
[LB] "I don't know because from the beginning, Sarah was always boy crazy, so for her, I don't think it's about being one way or the other - I think she's just very clingy. What would have been good for her would have been to spend some time on her own and be her own person and learn what and who she is. She's always clung on to people, relied on them, believing that they would make her happy. I think that's what happened with Zoe as well because they were such good friends. With Lydia, she brought something to her and she got on with her and was sparky, which is something that Sarah liked. I don't know if she'd suddenly turned, though. Maybe she was more bisexual than anything."
Do you think your characters still have proper feelings for each other?
[LB] "I think that for Sarah, Zoe's the best friend she's ever had - a lot of people in her life have let her down but Zoe's her rock. Even though they've had their fall-outs, she's always been there for her and she loves her as a friend. I think Zoe feels the same. But for Sarah it's something more - she completely relies on her and that turns into love for her as well."
[ZL] "I don't think they do have feelings for each other in that way. Last year happened and Zoe put it down to history and experience - one of those things that teenagers get up to occasionally and she was quite happy to leave it there. They've got through a lot and their relationship is really quite special. There's a lot of love there but Zoe's not got anything sexual for Sarah - it's purely a deep friendship."
Were either of you tempted by the skydive?
[LB] "I was honestly very tempted but then I thought it was tempting fate a little. We were coached so well - I went on the training to learn how to do all the manoeuvres but I'm absolutely terrified of planes and heights, so it was a bit of a crazy thing to ask me to do! I originally thought I might be missing out on a big opportunity but it's not something that I'd ever want to do or ever have to do so I'm glad. Zoë's always wanted to do it so she's fully trained up to be a skydiver which is great but me and Lydia were like 'No way!' There was no way they'd have got me up in a plane without a holiday at the other end of it!"
[ZL] "I've done ten! That was for the training, though. There were several jump days because it's so weather permitting. As you move up the training levels, every time you jump it gets a little bit harder. Now I'm jumping out on my own which is what they needed for the shot. We did a lot of green screening but it'd have been a shame to have done all the training and not actually get the money shot in!"
What's been the funniest part of filming for you?
[LB] "For me, I think it had to be all the pretend skydiving stuff because we used cranes and were on ropes dangling in the air. It was amazing but slightly painful - we had this harness nappy on and spent a whole day swinging from it. I managed to conquer my fear of heights a little though, dangling from a wire off a 300-foot crane! We had all the wind machines too, before filming the jumps from a static plane onto the crash mats!"
[ZL] "It was definitely when Loui and I were on a late-night shoot outside in the dark. We were filming the drunken scenes where we fall into a brook. We had a real giggle doing it - I had mud all over me, it was ridiculous!"
And finally, can you tell us who dies?
[LB] "I'm saying nothing…"
[ZL] "Me neither…"

Hollyoaks Babes lock lips!
From The Sun..
LUCKY Hollyoaks fans got another chance to see gorgeous Sarah and Zoe snogging on screen last night.
Sarah, played by Loui Batley, lunged in for a smooch with her blonde co-star (Zoe Lister) in a steamy grass field scene in the racier version of the show, E4's Hollyoaks Later.
At first glance it appears that both of the characters, who romped in Hollyoaks earlier this year, had stripped off to frolick in the field.
But the pair were actually wearing carefully concealed clothes.
Loui, who is leaving the show, said some of her lesbian scenes have been weird to film.
They've been far from weird to watch...

More Hollyoaks Later SPOILERS (Episodes 1 to 4)
Episode 1
Gilly, Steph, Fernando, Sarah and Zoe arrive at the outward bound centre excited about their impending charity skydive. Eccentric centre leader, Kingsley, shows them the ropes and puts them through his off the wall training techniques, whilst also taking a shine to Zoe. Gilly struggles to keep his feelings for Steph contained as Mr Perfect, Fernando, woos her, and the rest of the group, at every turn. An effort to throw the others of the scent leads to the gang thinking Gilly is in love with Sarah. Zoe pushes Sarah to come clean about her waning feelings towards Lydia, having sensed her reluctance to invite her girlfriend on this trip with them. Meanwhile Lydia is seething when she discovers Sarah neglected to mention her ex Zoe was going camping with her. Borrowing Charlotte's camping gear Lydia goes off in hot pursuit. As the gang swap ghost stories, Sarah gets a real fright when Lydia turns up unannounced. Lydia and Sarah's ensuing fight suggests the rest of the week at camp is unlikely to go without incident…
Episode 2
Best friends Zoe and Sarah having fun is misconstrued by an increasingly paranoid Lydia as flirting. The strain is starting to tell. Gilly and Lydia briefly confide in each other about their feelings for Steph and Sarah, respectively. Both decide to play it cool but this pact doesn't last long as Gilly's jealousy of Fernando leads him to throw his bag into a lake in a fit of pique. Realising Steph's meds were in the bag too the threesome are forced to go home together, Gilly feeling guilty and no closer to stealing Steph's affections. Lydia lasts a little longer but eventually cracks and warns Zoe to stay away from Sarah as the last time they slept together Sarah tried to kill herself. Initially disbelieving, Zoe treads carefully just in case it's true. Will Lydia's plans to estrange the friends work out or is the truth inevitably going to come out amid a seething hotbed of jealousy and passion?
Episode 3
Lydia is pleased her warning to Zoe to back off seems to have worked when Zoe spends the night in the other tent. Lydia has Sarah all to herself at last. Sarah is confused by Zoe distancing herself and this prompts another row between Sarah and Lydia who accuses her of showing off for Zoe's attention. During a training session for the skydive, Zoe subtly probes Sarah to try and establish whether Lydia was right, that she did try to kill herself after they slept together. Lydia fears she's about to be revealed as a liar and feigns a twisted ankle to interrupt the moment. Kingsley's pursuit of Zoe comes to nothing as she opts to get drunk with Sarah rather than spend the evening in barracks with him. Zoe insinuates that she knows Lydia faked the injury and that Sarah didn't try to kill herself. Lydia unleashes a torrent of abuse at a shocked Zoe. She warns her again to stay away from Sarah. Zoe is left shaken by her venom. Sarah admits to Zoe that she feels like Lydia is a bit full on, Zoe advises her not to stay with her out of guilt. Around the campfire, Zoe, Lydia and Sarah drink. In a bid to lighten the mood, Sarah suggests a drinking game. However this soon backfires as Lydia grows increasingly angered by the in jokes and closeness Sarah and Zoe share. Lydia storms off and Sarah and Zoe, finding the whole situation a little funny now that they're well oiled, head off in hot pursuit to make amends. After a very drunk Zoe falls in a brook, Sarah helps Zoe out of her wet clothes, and the mood shifts. Sarah admits she still has strong feelings towards Zoe. When Sarah crosses the line and tries to kiss and fondle her, Zoe manages to shove her off before passing out in a drunken stupor. Sarah cuddles her friend as she sleeps unaware that outside, Lydia has overheard the whole thing..
Episode 4
It's the day of the parachute jump. Zoe wakes furious as she recalls the events of the previous night. She feels betrayed that Sarah would abuse their friendship by taking advantage of her when she was drunk. Lydia is also reeling having witnessed the incident, but tries to turn this around into her own favour by admitting to Sarah what she saw. She reassures her that she is not angry, after all it's not her fault, it's the bitch Zoe that's to blame. Before she knows it, Sarah's apologising to her girlfriend; agreeing Zoe was in the wrong and that she should go home. Lydia goes to call her a cab…
Although she knows she stopped her before Sarah went too far, Zoe decides to have it out with her so-called best friend. Spurred on by a pass from Kingsley, an argument between Sarah and Zoe erupts, and the girls lunge themselves at one another. The fight is short-lived however, as the girls burst into hysterics at their own behaviour. Their friendship is stronger than this, they both need to get over it. Lydia's devastated to discover that Sarah and Zoe have made up, but she covers it well. Totally frustrated that she can't control the situation, Lydia decides to take desperate action. She heads to where the girl's parachutes are laid out and goes to cut her own parachute chords.
The girls are anxious as the reality of jumping out of a plane hits them. Lydia is utterly horrified when Kingsley presents them with their parachutes, having mixed them up. There's no way Lydia can tell who has the faulty parachute. Too much of a wimp to incriminate herself, she is forced to keep quiet. Horrifyingly, the girls are playing Russian roulette with their lives... one of them is guaranteed to die today.

Zoe Interview - Sky TV
In next week's Hollyoaks Later we'll see the drama between Sarah, Lydia and Zoe end in a fatality.
We caught up with actress Zoe Lister to find out which unlucky lady is set to meet her maker.
There's plenty of mystery and intrigue surrounding the Hollyoaks Later episodes, can you tell us more?
Well, there's a group of us and we all decide to go sky diving, and I get invited along by my lovely friend Sarah. But Sarah doesn't tell her psycho-bunny girlfriend Lydia who's a bit jealous of our relationship anyway.
Lydia ends up following us, which is a bit weird. She starts getting very jealous and there's a lot of tension and basically she's not a happy girl. So she starts plotting things.
So what does she plot?
She thinks at this stage that she wants to kill herself - she's got to such a dark place that she thinks about cutting her parachute. But then it turns out that all the parachutes get mixed up and nobody knows who is actually going to get it. It's very exciting though.
Why is Lydia getting so worked up?
Sarah and Zoe had a bit of fling and there was a lot of tension after that. Plus they've been through a lot this year and their relationship as a friendship has become really strong.
Zoe's not always been a great friend, for example this year she plagiarised Sarah's dad's script to use as her degree project and that revealed a lot about Sarah's history and her life.
It's not been great but there's a lot of love there between them. Zoe's not a lesbian, it was a bit of an experimental phase, but Sarah will always hang on to that.
So when Lydia turns up, Sarah obviously has a bit of thing for Zoe and Lydia just can't take it and starts going mental.
There's been a lot of intrigue about who is going to die because pictures were released with two sets of funeral flowers - yours and Sarah's. But you are leaving the show - so is it Zoe that dies?
I can't say who dies, but yes I'm leaving the show.
Was it a good laugh to film?
Yes, it was great as we went on a lot of locations. The other night we were shooting in an army barracks amongst the squaddies and there was a lot of shouting. Me and Loui [Bately, who plays Sarah] always have a laugh filming.
Who else do you get on well with in the cast?
I've been in a bit of a Zoe and Loui bubble for the past few months, but I get on well with Jess Fox (Nancy), Garland (Elliot) and Jared Kent who plays Zac. Most of us aren't from Liverpool, but we all live here and we just hang out together like a big family. Umm, that's the cheesiest thing I've ever said!
So now you're moving on from Hollyoaks, what have been your highlights?
I've loved being one of the students, because we just have such a laugh and there has been a really progression of our characters through those three years. The stuff I'm filming now has definitely been the most exciting for me. Plus, I've been learning to sky dive.
Wow, so you did actually do your own stunts in these episodes?
Yeah, man, you know it! We haven't filmed the jump so far, but we've got up to the level where I'm about to jump out on my own.
So no fear of heights then?
No, but it's still terrifying. It's horrible.
Why are you leaving the show?
I knew about a year ago that my time was coming to an end and I was starting to think about moving back to London and seeing what else I could do. I think three years is a long time to do the same thing.
If you had been given more exciting storylines, do you think you would've stayed?
I still would've arrived at this decision after this period of time.
What's the future for you post 'Oaks?
Well I made a decision to leave, and I am totally excited but obviously panicked as well, because being an actor, you're not going to work all the time. That's just the standard thing. I'm just going to audition and see what happens, or nothing could happen and I could work in a call centre.
